Originally from the Midwest, Alison spent many years living and working in New York City before settling in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons. Her design aesthetic blends a love of natural, seasonal flowers with a relaxed California sensibility.

After years of creating arrangements for school events, celebrations, and friends, Alison launched Dorsey & Blooms to bring joyful floral design to her community. Her work focuses on organic shapes, vibrant color, and flowers that feel as though they were gathered straight from the garden.

When she’s not designing with flowers, Alison can usually be found cheering on her sons, playing tennis, hosting friends around the table, or finding inspiration in the gardens and landscapes of California.
